When you book a massage at an unfamiliar studio, you're putting yourself in a vulnerable position. Who will be treating you? Are they an expert? Can you trust them? What do they look like? To help you feel a bit more at ease, I'd like to briefly introduce myself. My name is Ruben, and I'm the founder of Slow Down Massage. My family and I live in Hilversum.
In addition to running Slow Down Massage, I also have a business in e-commerce - something completely different from a massage practice. After taking various massage courses, and with the encouragement of family and friends, I began offering professional massages in 2019.
For me, giving relaxation massages is a way to unwind and recharge. I also wanted to offer something meaningful for those experiencing touch deprivation - a need I've seen in many of my clients and recognized from my own time as a single man.
